In Summer 2020, M.F.A. filmmaker Owen Campbell (’21) set out to make his thesis film while we all became familiar with a new reality. While adding to his portfolio, the production of The Delivery Game, supported by the Delia Salvi Memorial Award, also adds to UCLA TFT’s knowledge of the care required in today’s industry environment. On Oct. 29, 2020, a live conversation was recorded between Campbell, FTVDM Production Safety Committee Chair Fabian Wagmister, the film’s on-set safety producer Cora Lautze and moderator Jenelle Riley to learn about how this production navigated new territory, negotiated uncertainties on set, and delivered research to inform our processes moving forward.
