UCLA TFT alumnus STEVE MARTIN was nominated twice for the 70th Annual Tony Awards, which were announced on Tuesday, May 3. For his work on the Broadway musical Bright Star, he received nominations in the categories of Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theatre. Additionally, KATIE BOECK (B.A. ’10) is one of the two actresses who plays the leading lady Wendla in the Broadway production of Spring Awakening, which is nominated in the category of Best Revival of a Musical. The Tony Awards will air live on CBS at 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 12.
